The links below provide the information for understanding the Uniform Commercial Code and the required procedures.

UCC Filings

Effective September 15, 2016, this office requires all Uniform Commercial Code filings to be processed through the UCC Online Services system. No paper filings* will be accepted by this office (see *Paper Filing Exceptionsbelow). Payment for online filings may be made by electronic check or credit card. Prepaid accounts are not an option at this time.

No paper filings* will be accepted by this office (see *Paper Filing Exceptionsbelow). Payment for online filings may be made by electronic check or credit card. Prepaid accounts are not an option at this time.

*Paper Filing Exceptions:These filings cannot be filed online. They must be filed via paper application.

UCC Searches

Effective February 27, 2018, UCC searches may only be conducted through the UCC Online services system. After February 26, 2018, this office will no longer conduct manual searches. View the State Register Public Notice.

Features of the new online search:

• Instantly download and print copies of certified and non-certified searches

• Efficiently search documents by filing name or number with immediate search results

• Conveniently and securely pay for services with credit card or electronic check

• Receive payment and/or order confirmation
