Special Message for Medical Cannabis Organizations
If you or your organization is approved by West Virginia DHHR to conduct business under the Medical Cannabis Act, you must submit all required documents in hard-copy format via U.S. Mail to: WV One Stop Business Center – 13 Kanawha Blvd. W. Suite 201 Charleston, WV 25302, or in-person at one of the Secretary of State's Office locations in either Charleston, Clarksburg or Martinsburg. Payment for fees may only be made via check.
Please note that any organization approved for operation under the Medical Cannabis Act is currently prohibited from utilizing any online document filing or online payment options due to certain federal restrictions on the State's banking systems.

Filing required business registrations with all the state agencies is now fast and easy through The WV One Stop Business Portal.
File Secretary of State, State Tax Department, WorkForce West Virginia (Unemployment Compensation) and Department of Labor filings online through the state's one stop portal.

Expedite Service
Expedite service is now available for Business Division filings.
Available in 24-hour, 2-hour and 1-hour expedite times, this service is available for an additional fee (in addition to the regular filing fee, where applicable) for both paper and online filings.

File Annual Reports
We encourage you to take advantage of our WV One Stop Business Portal for filing your company's annual report.
The WV One Stop Business Portal provides an accurate and secure gateway for you to manage your business transactions with the West Virginia Secretary of State's office.
Beginning in 2019, filing Annual Reports utilizing the One Stop Business Portal will be mandatory.
