Filing your meeting notice online is a fast and efficient way to make your meeting information available to the Public.

For consistency and ease for all users, we recommend following the Best Practices information found in the Quick Links to the right.

Although, acceptance of a meeting notice by the Secretary of State does not imply compliance with the Open Governmental Proceedings Act, these tips may help:

Meeting Notice Filing Tips

  A meeting notice must be filed and posted to the online meeting notice database for 5 business days to be compliant with the Act.

  To calculate a compliant date, count the day the notice is submitted as day 1, if submitted during regular office hours.

  The day of the meeting, weekends and holidays do not count.
