The WV Secretary of State's "I Voted!" Sticker Contest for 2026

The Public Gets to Choose the Statewide Winner!

The WV Secretary of State’s “I Voted!” Sticker Contest for 2026 is our state’s first-ever statewide competition to design artwork for the popular stickers that are given to voters when they vote in-person early or on election day. The contest was limited to eighth grade students in our public and private schools as well as those eighth graders who are homeschooled.

More than 1100 students from 42 counties submitted artwork to their County Clerks.  First Place winners were selected at the county level. Then the artwork from those First Place winners was submitted to the WV Secretary of State’s Office to compete in the Regional competition.

Below are the designs from our four (4) Regional Winners. Members of the general public are now invited to help Secretary of State Kris Warner select the Statewide Winner. You can only vote for one (1) design. There is a limit of one (1) vote per email address.

Voting will take place for ten (10) days and run from February 17 until 4:30pm on February 27. The winner will be announced on March 11 during National Civic Learning Week being celebrated at the State Capitol.

Thank you for your participation and best of luck to our four Regional Winners.
