The West Virginia Secretary of State UCC Division is committed to providing fast and efficient service. The UCC online search request service means convenient order and payment options for customers. UCC Filings
Effective September 15, 2016, this office requires all Uniform Commercial Code filings to be processed through the UCC Online Services system. No paper filings* will be accepted by this office (see Paper Filing Exceptions below). Payment for online filings can only be paid via credit card. Electronic check payment and prepaid accounts are not an option at this time.

UCC Searches
Effective February 27, 2018, UCC searches may only be conducted through the UCC Online Services system. After February 26, 2018, this office will no longer conduct manual searches.
