Charleston, W.Va. – Today, WV Secretary of State Kris Warner released the 2026 West Virginia Primary Election Report. The Report is a comprehensive overview of key events leading up to, during, and since West Virginia's May 12th Primary Election. The Report highlights the following:
- Voter registration history;
- Information on the ballots cast;
- Absentee ballot data; and
- Reports received by election staff.
Secretary Warner said, "Election administration is one of the most important responsibilities of my Office, and my team works closely with all 55 county clerks to ensure every eligible voter has the opportunity to participate and that every ballot is secured and counted accurately. West Virginians deserve elections that are safe, secure, transparent, and fair. This report reflects our commitment to delivering exactly that."
