 Secretary of State Mac Warner Issues Statement on the Passing of Grant County Clerk Harold Hiser

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The Secretary of State Mac Warner was saddened to learn today of the passing of longtime Grant County Clerk Harold Hiser.
“On behalf of the Office of Secretary of State, I want to express my condolences to the family of Clerk Hiser, as well has his staff.” Warner said.
“Harold served his county and community for more than 37 years, giving his time and his talents. His passing is a loss for not only his family, friends, and staff, but also the county and the state," he continued.
Harold Hiser first took office as Grant County Clerk in 1981, serving for 37 years. Clerk Hiser held the respect of the entire Grant County community, and took joy and pride in serving the public. He is survived by his wife and three adult children. In his free time, he enjoyed camping and traveling.
